Former Real Madrid midfielder, Bernd Schuster has put Barcelona star, Pedri among three players he wants to win the Ballon dOr this year.
Speaking to Mundo Deportivo, the 65-year-old believes the Spain international is one of the best players in the recently concluded season, along with Paris Saint-Germains Ousmane Dembele and Real Madrids Kylian Mbappe.
According to Schuster, Pedri should win the 2025 Ballon dOr because he had a spectacular season, adding that if he doesnt claim the prestigious top-individual award, then Dembele or Mbappe should win it.
He said: The whole world will be watching the FIFA Club World Cup, all the top teams are there, and for certain players already in the conversation for the Ballon dOr race this is a key moment to seal the deal.
