Martha was a standout in the recently concluded North West Second Division Female Football Championship, scoring six goals and finishing as Precious Ladies top scorer. Her consistent performances made her one of the most sought-after players in the region, and now she takes the next step in her career by joining the Douala-based Authentic Ladies.
The transfer also comes at a pivotal moment for Authentic, who recently lost striker La Vitesse Pieda to Cyclone FC. Martha is expected to bring speed, determination, and an instinctive eye for goal, attributes that could quickly make her an important asset for the club in their league campaign.
Speaking to Kick442, Precious Ladies president Yuh Joshua Kosimbom described the move as both a proud and defining moment for his young club. He noted that while some wanted Martha to stay another year, the board decided it was in the best interest of the player and the team to support her progress.
