African Union Commission Chairperson, Mahmoud Youssouf, has urged G20 member states to support efforts to boost intra-African trade and investment.
Addressing the G20 Compact with Africa, Youssouf says the success of the African Continental Free Trade Area AfCFTA depends heavily on buy-in from developed nations to drive inclusive growth and sustainable development on the continent.
The Compact with Africa is a G20 initiative aimed at linking African businesses with global investors, mobilising private capital, and creating much-needed jobs.
