At the ARUA 2025 Biennial International Conference held in Kampala, Uganda, Astria Learning and Makerere University officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding MoU to launch the AI eCampus Partnership. This initiative represents a significant milestone in advancing digital education and artificial intelligence across Africa. The partnership aims to expand postgraduate access, digitize research collaboration, and empower African universities to lead in AI-driven innovation.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by Hon. Dr. Monica Musenero Masanza, Uganda's Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Prof. Barnabas Nawangwe, Vice-Chancellor of Makerere University, and Dr. Jeff Bordes, Chief Executive Officer of Astria Learning. Their presence underscored the importance of collaboration between government, academia, and the private sector in shaping the future of higher education on the continent.
