Liverpool manager, Arne Slot has confirmed that new record signing Alexander Isak will make his debut for the Reds against Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League, Softfootball reports.
The Sweden international completed his move to Liverpool on transfer on deadline day, September 1 but hasn't featured in any game because of match fitness issues. Isak did not play in pre-season in Newcastle as he agitated for a move to Anfield.
Liverpool's first bid of 100 million was rejected by the Magpies as they wanted 150 million but with time ticking and the transfer window closing they reached agreement on 130 million. However, he hasn't played for the club except for during the international break when he made a cameo appearance for Sweden.
