Good news for football fans across the world as Michail Antonio returned to the pitch for the first time since his near death experience seven months ago, Softfootball reports.

The Jamaican was involved in a fatal accident where his Ferrari crash was completely destroyed beyond repair and his leg broken. He had his femur bone put back together after it was shattered in four places.

After surgery, it was feared that his career might be over but he bounced back. According to Dailymail , Antonio featured for 45 minutes last night for West Ham Under-21 side in their friendly against Boreham Wood.

The 35-year-old who hasnt played since his accident in December, 2024 scored a brace as the Hammers U-21 won 4-1.

Earlier this month, West Ham promised to keep supporting the player, who is on 90,000 a week wages, through the process of his recovery, although he is a free agent after his contract expired this summer.
