England international Angel Gomes has officially signed for Marseille after his contract with Lille came to an end, the French club confirmed on Friday.
The 24-year-old midfielder, who has spent the last four seasons with Lille in Ligue 1, had already agreed to join Marseille in principle last month. His move has now been finalised, marking a new chapter in his career.
Gomes started out at Manchester United before departing in 2020, and his switch to Marseille reunites him with former Old Trafford team-mate Mason Greenwood.
The playmaker made his senior England debut in 2023 and has since earned four caps for the national team.
