Anc To Hold Councillor Roll Call To 'accelerate Service Delivery' As Elections Loom

The African National Congress ANC is set to convene a roll call of all its councillors as it starts earnest preparations for the upcoming local government elections.

South Africans will elect new municipal councils at a date that must fall between 2 November 2026 and 30 January 2027, the Independent Electoral Commission said recently.

The ANC will hold the roll call on Monday, 15 September 2025 at the FNB Stadiums Gold Rush Dome in Soweto, Gauteng, according to an announcement it made on X on Wednesday 3 September.
