JOHANNESBURG - On Saturday, the African National Congress ANC's national executive committee NEC is expected to discuss electoral guidelines ahead of the selection of candidates that it will field across various municipalities in 2026s local government elections.
Itll also comb through the work of both its officials and the national working committee NWC.
The NEC, which last met over three months ago, is holding a four-day meeting in Ormonde, south of Johannesburg, this weekend.
The committee is also expected to hear from its integrity commission, after a day deliberating on issues like the economy, the Government of National Unity GNU, as well as several other domestic and international issues
The ANC is hoping to focus a bit more on organisational matters on Saturday.
This will include going through some of the work done by its top seven and the NWC, as well as its integrity commission.
