The KaNyamazane Magistrates Court granted ANC Ward 29 councillor Dumisane Masilela bail of R10,000 this afternoon.
The 34-year-old ANC councillor is accused of two attempted murder charges following a shooting incident where he allegedly shot and wounded a grieving father whose teen girl committed suicide and a neighbour.
Magistrate Nakedi Malumane has released Masilela on conditions that he does not influence witnesses and disturb police investigations on the matter.
