The South African under-17 football team has started its FIFA World Cup campaign with a win. Amajimbos beat Bolivia 3-1 in Doha, Qatar, despite being reduced to 10 men early on.
South Africa qualified for the World Cup after reaching the quarterfinals of the African Cup of Nations in Morocco earlier this year.
Amajimbos showcased incredible form from the get-go as they put pressure on Bolivias defence. But right back, Sive Pama received his marching orders early on after a second yellow card.
