Cape Town police are launching an investigation after a man was found dead in the water near Table Bay Harbour on Thursday morning, while a young child was rushed to hospital for treatment, reports Cape town Etc .
Table Bay Harbour police registered an inquest for investigation after the body of an adult male was retrieved from the water on Thursday morning, 4 December 2025, confirmed police spokesperson Sergeant Wesley Twigg.
The victim was declared deceased on the scene by medical personnel.
