The Algerian Investment Promotion Agency AAPI has unveiled a new confidential digital portal designed to combat corruption and unethical practices in the investment sector.
According to a statement released earlier this week, the platform allows both domestic and foreign investors, as well as project holders and agency employees, to securely report any attempt at corruption, blackmail, or abuse of authority linked to investment procedures.
AAPI said the initiative aims to 'strengthen the principles of transparency and trust" while improving the investment climate in Algeria. Reports submitted through the system will remain strictly confidential, with whistleblowers' identities protected at all times. The platform requires complainants to provide basic details such as name, nationality, contact information, and professional status, alongside a description of the violation and any supporting evidence.
