The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Kamel Baddari, officially launched the University Digital Library, an ambitious initiative developed under the University Publications Department. The launch ceremony took place at the Ministry Headquarters and marks a major milestone in Algeria's ongoing efforts to advance digital transformation in higher education.
The University Digital Library is part of the Ministry's strategic vision to modernize academic infrastructure and build an integrated digital ecosystem that promotes easy access to knowledge and research materials. It provides a comprehensive digital platform that enables students, researchers, and professors to access academic content efficiently and securely from anywhere in the country.
The new platform hosts a collection of more than 110,000 electronic documents, including publications from the University Publications Department, doctoral theses developed in collaboration with the National Center for Scientific and Technical Documentation CERIST, as well as resources from the Supreme Council of the Arabic Language. It also includes a selection of works from the National Center for Studies and Research on the National Movement and the November 1, 1954 Revolution, reflecting Algeria's commitment to preserving national heritage through digital access.
