Spaniard alex Marquez Ducati-Gresini rebounded from a crash in qualifying to claim victory in the Portuguese MotoGP sprint race at the Portimo circuit.
Marquez, who started fifth on the grid, managed to overtake fellow Spaniard Pedro Acosta KTM, who finished second. Italian Marco Bezzecchi Aprilia took the final spot on the podium.
Bezzecchi initially led the 12-lap race from pole position but was passed first by Acosta and then by Marquez, who secured the lead with just four laps remaining.
