Air Zimbabwe plans to rejoin global ticketing and codesharing platforms after stating it had cleared a debt of over 1 million R17,7 million to key international service providers.
Air Zimbabwe CEO, Edmund Makona , made the announcement in Victoria Falls last week, saying that global visibility was a top priority as part of the airlines broader turnaround strategy.
The airline is currently integrating its systems with global distribution networks, a process that is expected to takearoundthree months, according to Zim Eye .
Last month, the airline said it was selling two Boeing 777-200ER aircraft to allegedly address financial difficulties, including debt of more than 30 million R533,1 million.
