Just days after committing 2.5 million two million five hundred thousand dollars to Dynamos Football Club, Zimbabwes most decorated football side, businessman Kudakwashe Tagwirei has made an additional 100,000 one hundred thousand dollars contribution aimed at supporting former footballers and coaches.
The donation was disclosed by ZANU-PF Youth League Deputy Political Commissar Taurai Kandishaya, who said Tagwirei provided the funds to a newly formed party-linked group known as Former Footballers and Coaches for Economic Development. Kandishaya announced the contribution while hosting members of the group at his farm in Murehwa, Mashonaland East, where he said the money would help cover basic welfare needs, including healthcare.
