The 2025 Africas Travel Indaba is expected to be officially opened today at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre in Durban.
This years event is held under the theme Unlimited Africa with the aim of making a positive economic impact on the continents tourism sector.
The organisers say the number of African countries attending the event for the first time has increased to 27, including Burkina Faso and Chad.
Zimbabwean Exhibitor Judith Dzimbanhete says, "Definitely, it's an exciting thing to be here because I am putting my country on the map and showing what Zimbabwe has to offer as a destination as a country, so I am super excited."
Another Zimbabwean Exhibitor, Gertrude Dendere-Chibwe says, "I think the benefits are enormous and it magnifies the work that we do, because we get to see other agents that link us with other businesses, and they draw international crowd to our businesses and showcases what we have to offer at Kasambabezi Lodge in Zimbabwe."
