Uganda striker, Uche Ikpeazu has named the country he will support to win the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, after his teams 3-1 defeat to Nigeria on Tuesday.
Ikpeazu, whose father is from Nigeria and Mother from Uganda, was unable to save the Cranes as the Super Eagles eliminated them from the AFCON tournament in Morocco.
Prior to the game, the 30-year-old had apologized to his father while also insisting that he wanted to lead Uganda to beat Nigeria.
