Mozambique coach Chiquinho Conde has said that the cash offer the Mambas received from their President, Daniel Francisco Chapo, was simply because he knows they can beat the Super Eagles.
The Mambas will face Nigeria in the Round of 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations on Monday.
Prior to the game, Mozambiques president made a huge monetary offer of about 500,000 meticais to every player and member of the coaching staff if they beat the Super Eagles and advance to the quarterfinals.
