Nigeria will play against Mozambique in the Round of 16 of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations AFCON , tournament organisers have announced. The pairing was confirmed after the completion of the third round of group matches on Wednesday night.
The knockout encounter will be played in Fez, where the Super Eagles will battle for a place in the quarter-finals as they continue their quest for continental success at AFCON2025.
The Round of 16 fixtures at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations will be staged between January 3 and 6, 2026, across various cities in Morocco. The winners will progress to the quarter-finals, scheduled for January 9 and 10.
