Parliaments ad hoc committee looking into corruption allegations against law enforcement agencies has denied the Deputy National Police Commissioner for Crime Detection Shadrack Sibiyas announcement that he will appear before it.
The committee was established to look into threats to national security, following allegations made by KwaZulu-Natal Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi of serious corruption in the criminal justice system.
The Democratic Alliance DA, the Economic Freedom Fighters EFF and the uMkhonto weSizwe Party MKP say they have not yet agreed on who will appear before the committee first.
