Action SA says it supports Parliaments decision to launch a full inquiry into the Road Accident Fund RAF.
The party criticised the RAF, calling it a centre of corruption and mismanagement after a poor performance by its board before parliaments Standing Committee on Public Accounts Scopa.
Action SA is demanding the RAF Boards immediate removal and has proposed a motion for debate.
Party MP Alan Beesley says it is disturbing that the RAF awarded two media houses R1 billion in contracts, but the expenditure does not make sense.
Beesley says, "Two media companies were awarded a contract of R500 million to last a couple of years and that most of that money is being used up, and serious concerns need to be asked as to where that money has actually been used up."
