Canada U-17 womens head coach Jen Herst admitted that her second-half tweaks paved the way for the victory over Nigeria, DAILY POST reports.
The North Americans defeated the Flamingos 4-1 in their opening fixture at the ongoing 2025 FIFA U-17 Womens World Cup in Rabat on Sunday night.
Nigeria dominated proceedings in the first half but were thwarted by goalkeeper Khadijah Cisse, who made a number of vital saves.
