Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide following the death of two people in a collision between a truck and a car on the R72 in the Eastern Cape.
The provincial Transport Department says the deceased were in the truck whose driver was injured in the incident , which happened overnight.
The spokesperson Unathi Binqose says there are broken bottles at the crash scene as the truck was carrying a load of beer.
