Federico Valverde is one of the longest serving members of the current Real Madrid squad and manager Xabi Alonso has now claimed that it is a privilege having the Uruguayan at the club, Softfootball reports.
At the start of the season, the midfielder struggled to get into Alonso's first eleven but injuries to regular right backs Daniel Carvajal and Trent Alexander-Arnold opened the opportunity for the utility Valverde to lay his claim to the first team.
Valverde claims he is committed to Real Madrid and showed it through his performances and today, he is one of the first names on the roster for every match this season.
