In the match, India restricted SOuth Africa to 270, thanks to brillant four wicket hauls from Prasidh Krishna and Kuldeep Yadav. Chasing the target, openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma put on solid 155-run partnership, with Jaiswal scoring a century and Rohit contributing 75 runs. Virat Kohli finished the chase in style with a quick 65 off 45 balls, sealing Indias nine-wicket victory and the 2-1 series triumph.
Notably, Virat Kohli entered the third ODI on the back of two consecutive centuries in the series. In a playful video shared by his IPL franchise, Punjab Kings PBKS, Arshdeep Singh joked that if Indias target had been higher, Kohli might have been on his way to a third consecutive century.
