Transnet National Ports Authority TNPA has completed its R76 million rehabilitation of Bayhead Road at the Port of Durban a month ahead of schedule.
The project, which commenced in June and was originally planned for six months, eases traffic congestion by providing seamless access to port terminals, warehouses and industrial facilities.
Bayhead Road connects the Port of Durban to the national road network, supporting efficient supply chains and bolstering the countrys trade competitiveness. The key route enhances port operational efficiency and contributes to global trade connectivity.
