Three children have died and eleven others were injured after a taxi crashed into a creche in Imbali, Pietermaritzburg, on Thursday morning. Two of the injured are in critical condition.
The accident happened at around 7:30 AM on the T6 road. Authorities say the taxi driver lost control of the vehicle, which veered off the road before colliding with the creche.
The victims are aged between nine and fifteen. KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service confirmed that paramedics provided emergency medical care at the scene.
