Speaker of National Assembly Thoko Didiza says she would reflect if ANC members approached her to run for the partys presidency at its 2027 national conference.
Sunday Times reported that President Cyril Ramaphosa and ANC National Chairperson Gwede Mantashe have thrown their weight behind her potential candidature.
Ramaphosas second term as ANC President ends in December 2027 when the party is expected to elect his successor amid diminishing electoral fortunes.
