After an enthralling 38 overs of cricketing action on Friday, South Africa Women SA-W will be up against Ireland Women IRE-W once again for the second T20I of the series on Sunday, December 7 at the Boland Park in Paarl.
South Africa Women finally regained their winning momentum in the first T20I, having lost both their previous encounters preceding the one on Friday. They posted a mammoth total of 220/2 on the board in the first game, and restricted the visiting team to a meagre response during the run chase, eventually emerging victorious in a rather convincing manner.
Ireland Women, on the other hand, had very little to show in the opening encounter, as they looked clueless with both bat and ball. The Gaby Lewis-led unit will have to generate some confidence and regroup to put an inspiring performance on the field in the upcoming contest, which will also help them keep the series alive.
