Convicted businessman Stuart James Scharnick has opened a case of perjury, contravention of the POPIA Act and defeating the ends of justice against South African Police Service SAPS Divisional Commissioner for Crime Intelligence Lt-Gen Dumisani Khumalo.
Scharnick laid the charges at the Pretoria Central Police Station on Wednesday morning 12 November.
Scharnick takes on KhumaloThe matter relates to Khumalos recent testimony at the commission of inquiry probing allegations of criminality, political interference and corruption in the criminal justice system. It is chaired by retired Constitutional Court justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga .
