The South African National Taxi Council Santaco says it is ramping up its Hlokomela campaign to protect commuters this festive season.
The programme runs until January 13th 2026, and includes roadworthiness checks, safety activations, and engagements with taxi operators across the country.
Santaco will be active at major taxi ranks, routes, and hotspots to ensure safer travel.
