Western Cape police say theyve arrested more than 700 alleged gangsters and seized hundreds of illegal firearms over recent months.
Additional officers have been deployed to hotspot areas, including Mitchells Plain, Mfuleni, Delft, Bishop Lavis, Manenberg, among others.
Theres been an alarming increase in ongoing gun violence across various communities in Cape Town.
