Six suspects have escaped from the Lydenburg Police Station in Mpumalanga. The suspects were arrested for crimes such as murder, rape, possession of an unlicensed firearm and malicious damage to property.
Mpumalanga police spokesperson Mpho Nonyane-Mpe says two of the suspects are Mozambican nationals.
Nonyane-Mpe has urged members of the public who may have useful information on the whereabouts of the suspects to contact the police.
