Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres has acknowledged the disappointment inside the dressing room after the Gunners' dramatic 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa at Villa Park on Sunday. Matty Cash had given the hosts the lead, but Arsenal fought back and equalised through Leandro Trossard, seemingly set to return to north London with a hard-earned point before Emi Buendia's stoppage-time winner ended their 18-game unbeaten run in all competitions, Softfootball reports.
The defeat, which came in agonising fashion at Villa Park, naturally left emotions high within the squad as they processed the end of their impressive unbeaten streak.
