Gauteng Activates Contingency Plans After Hospital Food Supply Halt

The Gauteng Health Department says it has put contingency plans in place after hospital food supplies from the Masakhane Cook Freeze factory were stopped .

This follows the discovery of e.coli contamination in the factorys water supply during a City of Tshwane inspection.

The factory supplies meals to several major hospitals, including Charlotte Maxeke, Odi, Tshwane District, Bronkhorstspruit, Jubilee, and Lenasia South.
