Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir showered praise on Yashasvi Jaiswal following his century in the third and final ODI match against South Africa in Visakhapatnam on Saturday, December 6. Gambhir also said that Jaiswal has great potential but must learn how to control his tempo in the 50-over format.
Jaiswal entered the third ODI under pressure after low scores in the first two matches. However, the young opener batted with patience early on and went on to score an unbeaten 116 off 121 balls, including 12 boundaries and two sixes. India won by nine wickets with more than 10 overs left, sealing the series 2-1.
