Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has blamed Manchester United legend Gary Neville for midfielder Scott McTominay's departure from Old Trafford.

Carragher believes Neville "killed" the Scotland international with excessive criticism before he moved to Napoli in August 2024.

McTominay, who came through Manchester United's academy, was sold to the Serie A champions for 25.7m last year.
