Elsewedy Electric, the Cairo-based multinational cable and electrical equipment manufacturer led by the Egyptian billionaire El-Sewedy family, has teamed up with Raneen Energy to host a technical seminar in Doha aimed at strengthening Qatars power network. The meeting brought together engineers, regulators and industry executives to review compliance with Kahramaa standards for dry transformers, oil-immersed transformers and busway systems.
Shared standards and market entry
The seminar doubled as the formal launch of the partnership between Elsewedy Electric for Electrical Products and Raneen Energy. Speakers walked through certification procedures for equipment entering the Qatari market and outlined how both companies plan to supply products that meet Kahramaas requirements.
