The High Court in Pretoria is expected to hear the continuation of testimony from Absolom Zungu when the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial resumes on Friday .
Zungu, the father of key state witness Constable Sizwe Zungu, is the second witness to be called by the defence.
He has denied making a statement to the police about Meyiwas murder, implicating the accused number one, Muzi Sibiya and the accused number two, Bongani Ntanzi. However, proceedings were halted yesterday after accused number five, Fisokuhle Ntuli, alleged he was assaulted at Kgosi Mampuru prison in Pretoria.
