The Mpumalanga Division of the High Court in Mbombela has ordered insurance company Alexander Forbes, not to pay out the R44.7 million of former Deputy President David Mabuza to his widow, Patience Mnisi.
This is an interim order until the Mabuza family resolves their disputes and to determine whether these funds are his pension.
Mabuza nominated Mnisi as a beneficiary however his daughter, Tamara Silinda , claims that she and her siblings are entitled to benefit from their father's estate.
