The Congress of the People COPE says its determined to stabilise the partys leadership ahead of the upcoming 2026 local government elections.
COPEs acting General Secretary Eric Mohlapamaswi reveals that the partys Congress National Committee CNC has adopted a resolution to postpone the partys National Elective Congress to April next year.
The decision was taken during the recent two-day strategic meeting that took place in Johannesburg over the weekend.
