The Project for Accelerating Digital Transformation PATN in the Republic of the Congo has reached a new milestone with the successful deployment of 3G connectivity across multiple rural locations. The initiative, led by the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and the Digital Economy, aims to expand access to reliable Internet and digital services as part of the country's broader strategy to promote inclusive digital growth.

The latest phase, announced on October 14, 2025, marks the commissioning of several new 3G network sites across regions including Niari Nkoilou, Moutolo, Niamiba, Kibongui-Laomba, Kibombi, Bokoma, Tchibota, Tsienioula, Bouenza Nkayi, Loudima, Lounda-Louakipouka, Pool Ingolo 1, Plateaux Nkomgoma, Cuvette Mboumbigou, and Likouala Ngoinda.

This expansion brings high-speed Internet access to over 30,000 people living in previously underserved areas, creating new opportunities in education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, and e-government services. The improved connectivity is expected to foster socio-economic development, strengthen digital inclusion, and bridge the digital divide between urban and rural communities.
