The head of the NPA Advocate Shamila Batohi says any suggestion that the authority is a failing organisation, is not true.
She is appearing before Parliaments Ad Hoc Committee, established to look into allegations of criminal infiltration, corruption and political interference in the justice system made by KZN Police Commissioner Lt-General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi in July.
Batohi was criticised for failures such as the unsuccessful extradition of the Guptas and the acquittal of televangelist Timothy Omotoso who was facing several charges of rape and human trafficking.
