African National Congress ANC Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula says their National General Council NGC will not be about the removal of President Cyril Ramaphosa, but strictly about the review of the implementation of its resolutions since its last conference.
He was speaking to the media on the sidelines of their one-day Special NEC meeting in Boksburg east of Johannesburg, earlier today.
The Secretary-Generals comments follow some reports that the NGC might be turned into a leadership contest, after some senior ANC members reportedly want to see Ramaphosa out.
