Following his resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke will announce his new political party before December 13, according to the state Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Kolapo Alimi.
Speaking during a political programme on Rave FM in Osogbo on Tuesday, Alimi confirmed that the governor quietly submitted his resignation letter to party executives in Sagba Abogunde, Ward 2, Ede North Local Government, on November 4.
He attributed Adeleke's exit to what he described as longstanding internal crises within the PDP.
