Acurast Secures 11 Million for Decentralised Confidential Computing

Acurast, a decentralised confidential computing network powered by smartphones, has secured 11 million to support the launch of its mainnet. The network will officially go live on 17 November 2025, alongside the debut of its native token, ACU.

The projects funding includes both non-dilutive grants and token-based rounds raised between 2023 and 2025. It also features an oversubscribed public token sale on CoinList in May 2025 that brought in 5.4 million.

Acurasts backers include a list of high-profile names such as Ethereum co-founder and Polkadot founder Gavin Wood, MN Capital founder Michael van de Poppe, GlueNet founder Ogle, and Sigma Capitals CEO Vineet Budki. Other investors include Leonard Drlochter of peaq and Scytale Digital.
